We are a theatre company based in Bristol in the south west of England.
We are a community interest company which means we are a business that can earn money for ourselves.
The profits all go back into the company to pay for our activities. Most people in the company have a learning difficulty.
Workshops
We have two groups. We meet every week. We like to dance, we like to do art and of course we act! We enjoy socialising, making friends and talking to everyone. We play a lot of drama games. On Wednesdays we are making masks at the moment. On Thursdays we are making short performances about our lives.
We want to change the world! And have fun while we do it!
Our core mission is to improve the life opportunities and aspirations of people with learning difficulties and to challenge discrimination in society so that our members are valued and respected on an equal basis to others.
Through our theatre we want to get across how we feel about our lives, to give ourselves and others a voice and help the audiences understand our life experiences.
We talk about what is important to us. We share our stories. Then we get up and improvise. We play, have fun and from this we devise a new performance.
We base our work on our everyday lives and look at issues that affect us and the people we know.
