‘A Day of SEND’ Performance

Misfits Theatre Company perform at ‘A Day of Send’, North Somerset Parents & Carers Working Together.

Misfits were invited to perform at ‘A Day of SEND’ (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) event, which is the largest they have facilitated with a jam packed day of speeches, performances, drop in clinics and activity workshops. Their aim is to provide the event yearly for the SEND community.

Key Note Speakers and performances for the event were Carrie Grant MBE, Andy Lewis MBE and The Misfits Theatre Company. The event was such an important, informative and wonderful day. We had a fabulous engaging audience who were up for getting involved and asking our actors questions at the end of the performance.

We received some wonderful feedback. Here is just a taster of what our audience said’

‘Amazing, inspiring and informative performance. Well done!’

‘The best things about the training was the enthusiasm and pride of the performers. The cast were so funny, memorable and personable’.

‘Insightful, funny and interesting’.

We look forward to next years SEND event. If you would like to book us for your next event check out our information on how to commission us or please get in touch with sara@misfitstheatre.com

“In my experience, the Misfits have always delivered high quality performances that bring home the reality of life for people with learning disabilities in a way that audiences can’t ignore. I have found them to be very creative about getting the message across and always extremely professional.”
