Workshop for Parents and Carers about Money

DOSH & Misfits are running Free parent and carer workshops to support with money

Do you support someone with a learning disability with their finances?

It can feel confusing and stressful sometimes to know what is right.

Come along to two fun, interactive workshops to build confidence and explore simple ways to support, money decisions safely and independently, in a relaxed supported space.

Limited places available.

When?  There are two workshops in 2026. You must be able to attend both to take part.

Monday 18th May & Monday 22nd June

1:30PM – 3:45PM on both days

Where? The workshops will be at our Misfits Hub at St Pauls Learning Centre.

What are the workshops about?

The workshop will help you think about how you support someone with a learning disability with their money.  The morning will be full of interactive tools and games to explore approaches you can take.

The workshops are for parent and carers to attend independently, without the people that they care for.

The session will be run by DOSH and Misfits Theatre Company.  DOSH is a company that support people with learning disabilities to manage their money.  Misfits will help to deliver this workshop in a fun, creative way!

If you would like to come, contact Sara to book your space!
