Our poetry group has been working hard this year, collaborating with local artists to create songs from their poems. You may have already seen the rocking Missing Kissing video we released earlier this year after working with Kid Carpet. Now, we’re excited to share our new poetry video Fast Talker, created with local musician Sarah Moody!
Fast Talker explores the feeling of being stuck in a world where people speak too much, too complicated and too fast!
Our poem encourages people to sloooooow dooowwn and really listen to the words we say, and think about the words you choose.
The poem was developed through our weekly poetry group with our artistic lead Anita Karla Kelly, and we then had some incredible music sessions with Sarah Moody to put the poem to music!
